Actually, a .220 batting average doesn’t seem all that good… But why would a woman want a man who is so easily manipulated (led around by his johnson) merely by a woman’s smile in the first place? Isn’t he just going to buzz off to the next flower which happens to smile at him, easy-come-easy-go fashion?
Nice tips Jeremy. They are really helpful. I also want to give one advise to guys. If you want to grab attention of a girl then you also need to make constant Eye contact with her so that she also end up doing the same… 🙂
The male and female sexes still play games to win each other’s affection. Human males still like to woo a female through their display of brute strength, dexterity or their sheer awesomeness. And a man laden with male hormones wants a woman who’s graceful and feminine, because subconsciously, it makes him feel more like a man.
Start with innocent touches and be very nonchalant and natural when you do it. For example, if you are sitting next to each other, you could kind of inch a tiny bit closer to him and have your leg against his leg and don’t say a word about it, just enjoy the moment. Or you could casually touch his thigh, as if it’s the most normal thing in the world.
Never let money stop you from doing something you desire. You don’t have a lack of finances; you have a lack of ideas. Tap into your desires and upgrade to the next level. Ask yourself, “How much will this cost me if I do not invest in it?”
Lastly, I like a woman that knows how to move her body, no, not sexually speaking, I mean, yeah, that’s important, but that’s not what I mean. I like a woman who’s a bit of “action star” she likes to be active, likes dancing, someone who can’t sit still for too long. I’m like this, too, so it only makes sense to find someone who is of a similar cut of cloth in this sense.
So if you’re trying to catch the attention of a typical guy *a large percentage of men have normal or high production of testosterone even though the overall average testosterone levels have dropped significantly in American men over the last 50 years*, chances are, he’d love you if your behavior is more feminine, cute and girly! But yeah, I agree — drop your hobbies. Go out to some bars/taverns after work once in a while, and sip on some super-light beer. Be more social in your work environment connect with others there, too.
The trick to attracting men is to make sure you value all the other areas of your life (for example your job, your family, your friends, your hobbies, etc) just as highly as you value having a man in your life.
7. Regular-Guy Bars. Don’t go to that super-trendy night spot filled with icy women in towering heels and snarky men in shiny shirts. If you want to find a nice, laid-back guy, go to a bar that has sawdust on the floor and bowling trophies on the walls. Sports bars are particularly good because 98 percent of the clientele will have a Y chromosome. Also, the game playing on the bar’s many TVs provides a natural conversation-starter. Your neighborhood tavern is also a good bet. Find one that has games — pool, darts, foosball — and then challenge a flannel-shirted cutie.
Long story short, please realize that meeting worthwhile men is not so complicated after all. Catching the attention of men has everything to do with our way of being, our mannerisms, our enjoyment of life, and our femininity. This is what it means to create an “aura of beauty.” Today, you can begin attracting men the natural, uncomplicated way. You don’t have to wait another day. Start exploring your natural charm. Be a class-act. Trust me when I say that he is dying to know the “beguiling you.” He would love nothing better than to be drawn in by your lovely self, the one who is as natural and fascinating as the space you so graciously inhabit.
Alex (Urban Dater), if someone had sat me down and asked me to write this same list, I would have come up with one very similar to yours. Even more proof that you’re awesome and that I’m lucky to be friends with you.
“It was interesting to see that it wasn’t all men who were conflating love with sex—it was just the short-term-oriented men,” says Ackerman. “There are different kinds of men and they mean different kinds of things when they’re communicating love.”
“Matthew is a genius whose magic needs to be shared with the world. His incredible understanding of love and relationships makes him the absolute best love guru! This book is a necessary tool for anyone looking for love.” (Eva Longoria, actor/producer)
But the research did not stop there. What psychologists discovered is that underneath the simplicity, we men can be surprisingly complicated. We want women, yes, and we want sex. But we don’t always want a slender frame and sharp curves. Sometimes we want a good personality. And a good romantic comedy. And to cuddle. This is laboratory science talking—not Hallmark or four martinis.
The solution – figuring out what is desired and where to get it. Create a rough “job description” for a good partner. Figure out where that type of person can be found. Look for those characteristics and test people on them. Continue to enjoy dating – but don’t forget the end goal either!
Never leave, hang up, or sign off angry. One thing that happens a lot after the honeymoon period, is that you’ll notice little things your significant other does that bother you. Don’t call her out on them, it will cause a fight and you don’t want that.
Wonderful post! I think if I could have applied this wisdom from a younger age I would not have all the relationship problems I’ve been experiencing again and again. Thanks for helping me feel there is definitely a way to not feel desperate, now I have hope. Jean X
When a woman tells a man what to do, she is essentially emasculating him by taking away the very thing that makes him feel significant: his ability to provide. When you boss him around, he feels like a failure for not being able to do his job. Rather than wanting to do more for you, he feels defeated and retreats.
Get over your fear of rejection. The fear of rejection can be a powerful emotion that prevents you from putting yourself out there and finding a man. Rejection can cause someone physical and emotional pain, and past experiences may shape how you see your current relationships in a negative way. To reduce fears of rejection, make sure you aren’t investing too much emotionally into one moment. Another way to get over the fear of rejection is to desensitize yourself to it over time. That is, introduce yourself to many men and get used to rejection occasionally. Gradual exposure is a common treatment for people who have phobias or people with anxiety.
There is no greater feeling to a man that that of being truly seen and appreciated for who he is by the woman he cares about. The trouble is a lot of women can’t see past the things he isn’t doing right. And what’s worse is a lot of women will harp on a man over these things, which makes him less inclined to do the things she wants. Instead, it makes him feel like a failure and he will shut down as a result.
It would be extremely difficult to find a man who does not find this to be an insane turn on. I won’t really go into this further but I think what I said speaks for itself. Do it in the way that feels comfortable for you and only if it feels comfortable.
It occurred to me after I saw the video, men also play hard to get – well at least they say they do (treat ’em mean, keep ’em keen). Want to make sure have got this right. Would this just be a ‘front’, or self protection from men (as mentioned in previous blogs)? Trying to be ‘super cool’? I tend to give up if I get no response. Sorry if I’m being contrary – just want to know if am on the right lines.
I have seen women wearing those huge fake eyelashes for example and then a ton of fake tanner on and so much makeup it was obvious from a mile away… and I suppose some men do find this hot but most would prefer a little bit less.
A regular man who isn’t suffering from low testosterone would always find a feminine woman more attractive than a woman who thinks femininity is overrated and displays traits that are traditionally considered manly.
You can hit all the fine points of our age-old mating dance, but if you don’t pull away from the pack, then he might not ever go in for the approach due to the wall of your protective clan. Obviously, if you are alone you need not worry about this one, but if you and the girls or guy friends are out and you see a young buck checking you out, it might be time to take a stroll, which will invite him into your own personal space.
I also don’t follow what you mean by ‘seeking a partner of equal value’. The fact that most women value men who are violent, abusive, and dysfunctional thugs—or weak, effeminate metrosexual types—illustrates how little most of them value masculinity at all.
Follow the Golden Rule. That means apply the same rules to yourself that you’d apply to others, including him. Real men do in fact notice this; they just don’t scream it out. For example, if he tells you he has a girlfriend and things are not working out, Stop! and think ladies and gentlemen that this could be a “test” on how you would handle the situation, so stand your ground and cut off communication (hint: “Golden Rule”). Second example: if you do want to try finding his ticklish spots, then don’t complain one bit if he tries finding yours in return. Don’t go on about how you “don’t NEED no man!” or about “men this, men that” if you don’t want him treating you the same way. DO, on the other hand, treat him–and others–with respect, dignity, and honor. Others will notice, too, and who knows–if they know you want a good, real man but don’t yet have one, they just might introduce you to one!
And when men were asked to choose which of the film’s scenes they’d like to enact, 40 percent chose a romantic encounter (read: kissing or caressing without intercourse) while another 15 percent chose an intimate conversation. Only 20 percent chose a full-on sex scene. We may have 1,000 or so sexual fantasies, but only in some of them are we the cable guy who arrives just as you’re getting out of the shower. In others we’re Paul Rudd.
If you wanted an Alaskan Salmon, throwing your fishing line into the Gulf of Mexico probably isn’t going to land you the desired prize. I’m not saying you won’t land a fish, you probably will. It’s just that it won’t be the fish you are looking for.
Breaking up is hard to do, but with your favorite ice cream, a warm blanket, and a few of the best breakup songs on the radio, it can be just a little bit better. We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite cry-your-eyes-out, sing-through-the-pain songs to get you back out there in the dating pool.
Holy shit. I’m a guy but wow… Just wow. Like, the way you describe it makes it seem to me like you basically want a dizzy slave. Why don’t you just date a child instead? Holy fuck dude. And no, men are not ‘naturally aggresive and dominant’, we’re just socialized to be that way so we get to control women. It’s people like you that’s wrong with the world. You use sexism and conservative gender roles to your advance so you can shame women for being human beings and not dolls. You tell girls that they need to be submissive cute little dolls who exist to fulfill your fantasies. If you can’t handle a real woman, with her loudness, dominance, and opinions, you’re better off single. Which I hope you do because no girl deserves to be manipulated and controlled into submission by you and guys like you.
You don’t have to pretend to be dumb or weak, nor do you have to behave like the weaker sex just to attract a man. All you need to do is revel in your femininity and display your cuteness, and give the man you like a chance to bask in his manliness and show off his protectiveness!
If you’re unsure of the guy’s sexuality, pay close attention to his body language. If he’s closed off, seems uninterested, or pulls away when you make physical contact, there’s a good chance he’s not attracted to you.
