If you want a committed relationship you can say, “I really enjoy your company and want to take the relationship to the next level. I only want to be involved with you, so what are your thoughts about being exclusive?”
Here’s a simple foolproof test: if it feels like you have to “fight” for your relationship, or it feels like you’re constantly battling to keep your relationship on track – that’s a strong sing you’re not compatible with each other.
I’m embarrassed to say that I was dumb enough to be conned by a slick snake oil salesman. That’s all he is. A cute , energetic , great salesman. Save your money , you already know all of his so called “secrets” and “tips”.There’s no wonder to me that he himself cannot retain a partner. I bought this and 2 others from his company .What a waste of my hard earned money!!
i THINK THAT it depends on situations ,i was before an easyging smiling ,positive woman, but Alot haVE HURT ME , AND I WILL BE NOT AS THE SAME AS BEFORE ANY MORE , I MUST FIRST ANALYSE THE PERSON AND THEN MAKE A DECISION IF I SHOULD TREAT HIM GOOD OR NOT
Who can listen: At the end of the day, men are human, and are social beings. We have our own insecurites, fears and thoughts. We need someone to lend us a ear, Pat on our back and say everything is going to be alright. We need someone who will listen to what we have to say, rather than who would keep on bitching or gossiping or talking about some stupid reality show.
Thank you! If we all just sit around hoping someone will come up and talk to us, then we’re just a bunch of people sitting around. You smile, you say “hi”, you strike up a conversation (quick, list 20 things to talk about with a random stranger!) and you see what happens. Maybe he knows someone who knows someone who’s unattached and available. You never know – and you’ll never know if you just sit there.
I really like the point about being self-aware. Pick the top 3 qualities that are important and allow that the rest may not match as well. I think if we move away from mentality of judging “does that person fit me” to cooperating “how can we make this work”, a lot of relationships can be saved and improve.

Be mysterious. A huge part of attracting men is letting them figure you out. Don’t talk his ear off about every detail of your life or your feelings. Carefully think about what you say and don’t fill the conversation with idle gabbing. Also, don’t make yourself available all the time. Allow him to wonder where you are and what you’re doing.
Imperfections: Have to stress the point again, because we are so much obsessed with the cover girls that we forget being organic is being sexy. Almost every guy agrees too much makeup is a turn-off. They want to see some natural beauty in you. The mole is absolutely okay, so is the buck teeth. They tend to associate you with your marks and scars, and it makes you uniquely attractive to them and distinguish you from rest of the crowd.
Jack – My my, Kissinger and Latin in a short blurb about how women attract you? I’m in awe. Latin is badass, and I’m unashamed of the fact that I think that Kissinger is a stud. Eloquent and swoon-worthy, as always (you, not Kissinger… OK, well maybe both of you…). How do you not have droves of unconscious women at your feet wherever you walk?
“Most people are terrified of getting hurt. They have elaborate ways of protecting themselves – ways that keep them safe, but unsatisfied. It’s not that they want to be alone; they just don’t know how to be vulnerable and safe at the same time. In an effort to protect their heart, they inadvertently doom themselves to loneliness.”
Be the woman who encourages a guy’s night out. A woman who, not only allow a guy’s night out, but also insists on it is a rockstar to any guy. The catch is that you have to really mean it. And if you do, he will be thinking about you the whole time he is out and won’t even notice the other girls around him.
Quirks: Every person has a quirk. And your quirk may make you more adorable. Maybe how your twirl your hair when thinking, twitch your eyes when nervous, or the way you sigh cutely……those do attract men who aren’t looking for plastic toys to play with.
Jade….So very glad you found this article at this crucial time in your life. How kind of you to call it “brilliant.” I am flattered. But I hear you. I was used to plenty of attention as well. In my case, I started getting “older,” so I had to remind myself of all the things I had been doing differently than a fair amount of other ladies. The good news? Those things still work. Ha!
I find the most interesting thing is that a lot of individuals expect perfection out of their mate and are ready to discard those that are not. The reality is no one is perfect and partners need to accept their differences and work with that in a positive way.
“Men seemed to have a heightened sense of the precariousness of the male gender role,” says University of South Florida psychologist Jennifer Bosson, the paper’s lead author. “We haven’t found many men willing to admit that my manhood is often in question, but when you ask men in general if manhood is something that’s easy to lose and hard to attain, they agree that’s the case.” Or, as the Kinsey Institute’s Julia Heiman puts it: “Heterosexual men have a little trouble saying they really like kissing and cuddling.”
Lol. Well, nomad spirit, if a good guy sees that everyone has to climb over you to find a seat or a place to stand, who knows what he may be thinking. That being said, most people have their heads buried in a computer whilst in-transit. You just happen to be the one who sits on the floor. 😉
Male stereotypes fail to take into account the importance of what might be called a commitment continuum. At one end are married men, at the other are gigolos, with all shades of monogamous and polygamous moderation in between. The oversight helps perpetuate misunderstandings of what men want.
The type of woman that I would want emotionally, a feminine woman who is grateful, nurturing, etc, is not exactly compatible with “independent woman”. The type of woman I’d want for a life partner isn’t compatible with an independent woman’s ideals.
The book is described as providing dating tips that still let *you* be *you*, and don’t require any gamesmanship to meet and keep a quality man; neither claim turns out to be true. In a nutshell, the book’s how-to can be boiled down to this:
Doing what you can to be the most attractive version of you possible is only going to increase your options, increase your power, and increase your effectiveness with attracting the person you ultimately want to attract.
Once you understand this, it kind of takes the pressure of the entire ‘hunt’. Humor is a great way to attract a guy to you, and to make him be interested in you, and if you’re wondering why, it’s simply because men love to be around women who are entertaining and know how to make him laugh. We always say men are not serious enough, well: draw a conclusion from it. That means they love to joke around, so once you know this take it to your advantage, trust us, you can’t go wrong.
I actually AM one of those cute and feminine girls. I ‘ve always been. Here’s some personal experiences for y’all: I once dated a guy with not so much testosterone (he was a skinny guy who was a complete NERD). It sucked, we had nothing to connect to, and he eventually dumped me for a more “dominant” girl. Now, I have a guy who is LOADED with testosterone (and he’s attractive), who likes me. Whenever I get cold, he offers his jacket. When I’m scared or upset, he does everything in his power to make me happy. People say he’s fallen quite hard for me, and I don’t blame him!
7. Regular-Guy Bars. Don’t go to that super-trendy night spot filled with icy women in towering heels and snarky men in shiny shirts. If you want to find a nice, laid-back guy, go to a bar that has sawdust on the floor and bowling trophies on the walls. Sports bars are particularly good because 98 percent of the clientele will have a Y chromosome. Also, the game playing on the bar’s many TVs provides a natural conversation-starter. Your neighborhood tavern is also a good bet. Find one that has games — pool, darts, foosball — and then challenge a flannel-shirted cutie.
Smile: Dealmaker. If you ever find a guy out of your league, just flash a smile, he will respond. Every man responds to a genuine smile. And again, not looking for a Madhuri Dixit here. Just flash those gorgeous gems and see the magic!!
And when men were asked to choose which of the film’s scenes they’d like to enact, 40 percent chose a romantic encounter (read: kissing or caressing without intercourse) while another 15 percent chose an intimate conversation. Only 20 percent chose a full-on sex scene. We may have 1,000 or so sexual fantasies, but only in some of them are we the cable guy who arrives just as you’re getting out of the shower. In others we’re Paul Rudd.
Verely; what you did wrong telling this guy you liked him is you were too easy. You have to find a way to attract a man to you, by being friendly, flirtatious maybe, but you don’t just give yourself to him.
Don’t be hasty. Lean in slowly and close your eyes. Go almost completely all the way to her lips, and wait for her to meet you there. Don’t go all the way, this might scare her off. Give her some room and time to make the decision. Go about 85-90% of the way.
