Be romantic about it. She won’t like it if her first time is in a car or in a bathroom at the movies. Her house would be the best. She’ll feel comfortable with her surroundings. Light a few candles to set the mood.
This is difficult though… So, you can always give your male friend my website too. There are many tips in my archives and many more to come, which can help him make you feel passion for him. Therefore, you can feel passion for the more local choice and win all the way around.
I find that I am drawn to women that are creative and artistic; I tend to be a nuts and bolts kind of person, circuit boards and hard drives rule my day. Having a woman that can make sure I’m getting my appropriate dosages of culture is nice. Sometimes these women are easy to spot; there’s a place I go to called the Gypsy Den and I tell you, these creative female types are all over… Though, they kinda look like they walked out of some sort of hippy people loving commune…
This is part of preening, except that it is what you do on your own, before you go out into the world where you’ll likely run into that special man. First of all, you must have a good hair cut, even if it means having to spend a little extra money on a stylist who knows what he is doing. A good hair style will do wonders for your self esteem, besides bringing out the symmetry of your face. Once we’ve done everything we can to take care of our outward appearance, we become more confident and our “inner spark” casts an almost magical spell, which then makes us more approachable.
Dress to impress but remain comfortable. When you are going out to meet new guys, it’s important that you feel confident and comfortable in your clothes. However, if your outfit makes you feel ridiculous or uncomfortable, it will affect your mood and the way that the date progresses. Pick out something that you would usually wear, but make sure that it’s clean and looks fresh before you go out.

I traveled with my mom to Dallas to hear from women about their difficulties with finding Mr. Right. In this video, you’ll get to enjoy some exclusive behind-the-scenes conversation and on-stage footage with real women + some super fun bonus footage of my mom trying to get women for me 😉
Is she, or does she look, bossy? – I once went on a dinner date with a zealous vegetarian called Judith. When I ordered a fillet steak she told the waiter to come back in a few minutes. ”Do you mind having something without meat?” she asked me. ”I beg your pardon?” ”It’s just – I couldn’t stand watching you eat a steak.” ”Er, right – so what should I have then?” ”How about spinach lasagne?” A short while later the waiter returned and I chivalrously changed my order. To a mixed grill. Judith and I spent the next hour in near silence before going our separate ways.
Play hard to get. The worst thing you can do is to smother a guy or appear desperate. Men are attracted to the thrill of the chase, so if you’re chasing after him, you’re taking away the challenge. Keep it low-key and keep him on the edge of his seat. Maintain your composure. Your outward indifference may make him want you more.
It’s easy to push a thought away and assume it’s wrong to be feminine or assume it’s a bad thing to change. But trust me, change is good. And change is inevitable. So you’re going to change whether you like it or not. And you have a choice to become a better you, or a worse you. [Read: 10 ways to achieve perfection in every step you take]
So if you want to attract a man and make him desire you, you just need to get his attention the right way. And the rest, as they say, is history! [Read: 22 ways to get a guy’s attention in any circumstance]
If it’s up to a man to protect and provide for his woman and family, what is it that he wants and needs from her in return? Simply put, a woman’s beauty and grace attracts a man and is often demonstrated in her innate ability as a nurturer or caretaker.
Well, hello brake12. It’s true that some women are naturals. The good news is that good habits can be learned with enough commitment. It’s worth the extra effort–for sure!. Also, Aubrey, I thank you for pinning. I’m delighted that you enjoyed the hub.
I should have known the reactions from the feminists would be outrage. The author is right on with this article. And your ridiculous complaints of stereotypical bs in this article is typical of you offended narcissists. Did you ever wonder how a stereotype came into being? It came into being as a consequence of observation of majorities. In other words, it became a stereotype because it’s a common attribute of a group, readily visible to others. Stereotypes are not evil, in spite of your quixotic politically correct mis-thinking. They teach us to discriminate in kindergarten, when they tell us to put the square peg in the square hole. They teach us this because it is a valuable mental faculty to cultivate. You ultra-feminists just can’t stand it, and insist on trying to put the square peg in the round hole.
Breaking up is hard to do, but with your favorite ice cream, a warm blanket, and a few of the best breakup songs on the radio, it can be just a little bit better. We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite cry-your-eyes-out, sing-through-the-pain songs to get you back out there in the dating pool.
Not really knowing oneself is most of the time the common mistake of women. we tend to be someone we’re really not because we want to attract some guy. in the end, we don’t get what we want because we were too busy being somebody else in the process.
Respected relationship expert Dr. Pat Allen suggests using red lipstick, since our 4-legged primate ancestors once attracted their male counterparts with their swollen vulvas. Now that we are on 2 legs, parts are, well… quite hidden, so evolution has passed the mating magnet to another pair of exposed lips.
Lol. Well, nomad spirit, if a good guy sees that everyone has to climb over you to find a seat or a place to stand, who knows what he may be thinking. That being said, most people have their heads buried in a computer whilst in-transit. You just happen to be the one who sits on the floor. 😉
If you were wondering what attracts men to women, it’s actually quite easy, and once you master it, you’ll have no trouble. I’m a male in my 30’s working 50-60 hours a week. With that, the gym, and some personal hobbies(mostly not social) I can sink 80 hours and not think of it. Obviously this is not going to work, and excuses are excuses…I have to plan.
Thank you for your answer, much appreciate. In my office there are narrow walkways / paths and the accepted practice is to walk on ones right hand side. The particular woman is not known to be rude at all, however, I once walking on what I perceive was the right side to walk on and had to get out of her path a split sec before we could collide. Since then I decided to always move out of their path. I once had to speak with her for some work related reason and found her very pleasant and cooperative. I work in Riyadh (KSA) and there are a lot of brave Arab / Western women working here and teaching us men some office manners :-). Thanks again for your feedback.
Relationships need a lot of effort, but sometimes it’s not easy to figure out where you should be directing that effort. Want to be more successful in dating? Then you’ll want to follow these simple steps for how to make a man fall in love with you, because believe it or not, there is actually a formula. It might not be magic, but it’s as close to a magic as you can get — and it’s also far more reliable.
He simply wants you to appreciate that he works hard to take care of you even if he can’t give you everything he’d like. That’s really not a lot to ask. So if you want a guy to see the very best in you and fall hopelessly in love, the one thing you can’t do is take him for granted or disrespect his efforts.
Some women are more innocent and cutesy, others more seductive and intense, others a combination of all these… some are more outgoing and expressive, others are more shy and want a man to take control.
Kindness: Men are more attracted to people who are good to them. Most men have to fight or work for everything they get. Beauty is subjective. Show up one day and hand him a plate of cookies, and you’ll suddenly be a lot prettier to that guy. He will also be thinking about those cookies for years. It’s not a common thing.
Last would be intensity. With a latin base of tensionem, (to stretch, struggle, contest) to me this means our energy will have a natural, (hopefully) sustainable tension, a key to battling eventual boredom.
The authors of The Rules: Time-Tested Secrets for Capturing the Heart of Mr. Right emphasize that in order to get a guy, a woman should always act busy—for instance, when a desirable man calls, it’s wise to set a timer to go off a few minutes later, then recite a memorized exit line, such as “Sorry, gotta go. I have a million things to do.” Here’s my crazy idea: How about actually having a million things to do? How about actually filling your life with interesting activities? If you want to attract a partner, identify what you love to do, and do it—a lot. Involved, busy people really are more attractive, so if you want to get engaged to your soul mate, start by being engaged in activities that fascinate you—especially those that have nothing to do with dating and that make you forget to go love hunting.
Never leave, hang up, or sign off angry. One thing that happens a lot after the honeymoon period, is that you’ll notice little things your significant other does that bother you. Don’t call her out on them, it will cause a fight and you don’t want that.
Here is some great news for those women who are resigned to the myth that all men cheat — infidelity and “a roaming eye” are as distasteful to men as they are to women. Great men know how to build a wonderful relationship, and they know fidelity is the main ingredient.

Have a life. Desperate, dramatic, and clingy relationships are often rooted in a feeling of need and desperation for a man to fill your life. Even if you have low self-esteem, work over time to build it. Pursue your goals and be focused, explore your passions, have an interesting life, do things that take you outside your boundaries. Don’t put up a tough exterior to get over shyness; gradually learn to build trust with a network of people, so that your boyfriend isn’t the only person you open up to and share your life with. Also remember to trust yourself first. If you can’t trust yourself, you are likely to not trust your man.
Hi FlourishAnyway. Thank you for sharing the hub! I’m happy that you enjoyed that particular section–about owning your space. It really does pay off where men are concerned, but I will say that sometimes some “petty” women will get a little catty about it…but that’s there problem and not ours. As always, I appreciate your insight about the positive and confident signals we send out.
I’ve been absolutely blessed to have been watching Rachael Ray when Matt was a guest on the show. I signed up for emails the same hour his segment finished airing. Though I never signed up for the thorough and elaborate step by step process, I’ve learned quite a bit about myself as well as how others and men perceive me. After leaving my husband of 6 years (not long but long enough), I had men asking me out one after the other. Six guys in a four week period wanted to date ME! ME, of all people. I declined five out of the six because I didn’t NEED a man, nor every date possible. The only one I didn’t decline is such a wonderful, caring, and handsome 😉 man that values me. For once, I’ve found someone that brings as much to the table as I do. I was a very clingy, disgustingly desperate feeling woman in the beginning, but I’ve discovered that I AM VALUABLE just as I am. I’m a slightly heavy woman, not obese, but curvy, and I’m with the most fit, trim, gorgeous, kindhearted, and romantic man I’ve ever met. He’s nearly straight from a romance novel. If I hadn’t found you, Matt, I’m sure I would still be the same lonely and needy woman that I once was. Thank you for everything.
Many people, however, go into dating without any clear logic or goals. They lead with their feelings only and then wonder why they don’t get anywhere! Sure, there is something to be said for “enjoying the journey”. However, if a person desires to get somewhere specific (e.g. marriage, kids, etc.), then it is very handy to have a map too! Without one, they tend to drive in circles and, not surprisingly, find themselves with the same partners time after time.
The first step is to change our undesirable habits. We do this by reminding ourselves that we are being noticed, even if for a split second. Frankly, it matters that we emit a positive and interesting vibe. By developing an aura of natural confidence we are also more likely to weed out undesirable men. How so?
