Your attitude shows up on your face and in your body language. Do you seem like someone ho finds life interesting? This is important. In order to look as if you find life remarkable and enjoyable, it is always a good idea to practice maintaining a slight smile, the kind that makes your eyes crinkle ever so slightly. Think Mona Lisa, or bigger if you like. Mona Lisa looks as though she finds life rather amusing; she is infinitely calm, yet mysterious—and that is a striking combination. No man wants to be around a woman who is bored, agitated or unfriendly. Depressed or angry women drive men away in droves.
it’s natural instincts. Men evolved to want to protect/provide because women are physically weaker, and so would have a hard time protecting themselves/kids. Also, Japanese women have jobs, and they still act feminine. And a man would have had to be aggressive and dominant to hunt, and to protect children/women. (who are physically weaker) If a women is all masculine, it makes her less attractive, because that’s not what a man instinctively wants in a woman. Why would a man be attracted to a woman that shows traits of someone with high testosterone? And how would that trigger his protective instincts in any way whatsoever?
Learn how to flirt by paying attention to how you look and portray yourself. Flirting begins with personal appearance and great self esteem. Learn also to manipulate body parts that will grab his attention and keep him interested in you

One “striking” finding, to borrow the report’s own word, was a very strong connection between a man’s relationship satisfaction and his frequency of physical intimacy. Not physical intimacy as in sex, but physical intimacy as in kissing, cuddling, and general, not necessarily sexual, caressing. The odds of a man being happy in his relationship increased by a factor of three if he snuggled up regularly.
The media might lead you to believe that getting a man is all about the physical: what you wear, how you do your makeup, the right push-up bra, the right scent. These things will certainly help you attract a man, but will do little to keep him interested and invested.
Talk about how you do not want to rush her and you do not want to make her feel uncomfortable in any way. Tell her that you will wait until she is ready, even if it means waiting years. She’ll appreciate these words.
It amazes me to hear women go down a list of the treatment they expect, places they want to wine and dine, trips they want to go on and pampering they want to receive. Yet they skimp and don’t invest in doing these things for themselves. Boggles the mind!
Verely; what you did wrong telling this guy you liked him is you were too easy. You have to find a way to attract a man to you, by being friendly, flirtatious maybe, but you don’t just give yourself to him.
So in essence, your local “friend” isn’t that attractive, but he provides you with something you’ve been missing. He’s the Beta male, and your LD Boyfriend, with the help of the long-distance itself, was more Alpha. In an odd, indirect way, you were wanting the best of both worlds — much like a gal wanting the “bad boy” to an extent, but also wanting the Nice Guy who gives the feeling of giving more fulfillment.
In 1533 or 1534 Süleyman married Hürrem in a magnificent formal ceremony, making him the first Ottoman Sultan in 200 years to marry his concubine. Never before was a former slave elevated to the status of the sultan’s lawful spouse, much to the astonishment of observers in the palace and in the city. Hürrem also received the title Haseki Sultan and became the first consort to hold this title. This title, used for a century, reflected the great power of imperial consorts (most of them were former slaves) in the Ottoman court, elevating their status higher than Ottoman princesses, and making them the equals of empresses consort in Europe. Hürrem’s salary was 2,000 aspers a day, making her one of the highest paid hasekis.
Henson is coming off the action pic “Proud Mary” and can be seen next as the lead in Lionsgate’s “Acrimony.” She is repped by UTA, Vincent Cirrincione and Meyer & Downs. Packer is repped by CAA and Ziffren Brittenham.
Something about being in a relationship even seems to change instinctual male desires. A good deal of evidence suggests that men sense when a woman is primed for reproduction; they can tell she’s ovulating, for instance, just by sniffing a T-shirt she wore, and they rate her as more attractive—and, in one classic study of strippers, give her better tips—at these times of the month than at others.
I’m not saying you should just let him do what he wants and not say a peep. There is a right way to encourage a guy to meet your fundamental needs (when I say needs, I mean universal needs we have as humans, like the desire to bond, connect, and support each other, not texting every hour on the hour), but it has to be done in a way that empowers him, not in a way that makes him feel like a failure.
This is why the book had some good advice & was worth the read – the basic idea is how to communicate who you are, how you feel, and what you expect accurately & in a way that is understood by men. So it’s not about changing who you are so much as really communicating it more clearly. If you’re the kind of girl whose friends & family & co-workers wonder why you’re single because they think you’re the bees knees, but for someone reason men you meet/briefly date aren’t valuing you the same way, then this might be a helpful read. You’re probably not sending the signals which communicate who YOU are correctly; you’re leaving false & bad impressions. So the book is really about being MORE yourself with communication that others understand & which creates the desired effect.
Start with innocent touches and be very nonchalant and natural when you do it. For example, if you are sitting next to each other, you could kind of inch a tiny bit closer to him and have your leg against his leg and don’t say a word about it, just enjoy the moment. Or you could casually touch his thigh, as if it’s the most normal thing in the world.
The meaning of the finding, Ackerman and colleagues report in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, turns on the commitment continuum. In subsequent tests, the researchers discovered that short-term guys felt a decrease in happiness when women declared “I love you” after sex. They’d said it first to score quickly, the finding suggests, and then, having scored, began to realize what they’d done.
And it must be in keeping with my own perspective, because it all seems obvious and self evident to me. I don’t have a list of “must have traits”, I’d rather meet a guy, get to know him, and see how things shake out. It never works. It doesn’t matter if I meet him at work, through friends, in night class, or through a dating service, it always goes exactly the same. Either he’s married, or he decides I’m not good enough for him.
Too much, or badly applied, make-up – If we can notice it, it’s too much. A natural look will always win the day. And the worst thing is those lines on a girl’s jaw line when she hasn’t applied the foundation properly. I once went on a first date with a girl who had flaky bit of make-up on the bridge of her nose between the eyes. It was like kissing a pasty.
I agree with the author. As a girl I would watch the guys at my highschool and I would notice that the “girly-girls” or the more feminine ones always got the hot-jock type guys. I was always on the more non-feminine side until one of my friends (a guy) mentioned that guys liked “cute” girls. It made them feel more manly. I tried acting more girly and guess what, I got a boyfriend.
I completely freaking agree. I’m so sick of that bullshit that ‘oh, Asian girls are so cute’, ‘every guy wants an Asian girl’, ‘all. They aren’t all cute. Some Asian b*tch kept trying to subtly get at my boyfriend, and he didn’t see what she was doing, but I did. She was fat and ugly as hell.
One single blog post can’t give you all the answers, but read to the end and you’ll be well on your way to knowing how to make a guy want you and how to get him to fall in love with you so he never wants to leave. By the end, you’ll have a better appreciation for and understanding of why a man does what he does and how you can use this knowledge to influence him to your advantage.
I really like the point about being self-aware. Pick the top 3 qualities that are important and allow that the rest may not match as well. I think if we move away from mentality of judging “does that person fit me” to cooperating “how can we make this work”, a lot of relationships can be saved and improve.
Flirt with body language. Lean in close to him when you talk. Touch his hand or shoulder during conversation. Smile and be genuinely interested in what he has to say. Turn your body toward him when you two are in close proximity. Don’t make these flirting techniques over-exaggerated and noticeable, however. Let your natural flirtatiousness shine.
It would be extremely difficult to find a man who does not find this to be an insane turn on. I won’t really go into this further but I think what I said speaks for itself. Do it in the way that feels comfortable for you and only if it feels comfortable.
A book which is founded on ideas about good communication & keeping integrity is one whose advice I feel I can trust & recommend. It has a “win-win” approach that doesn’t degrade men or women – how to get what you desire/need while giving someone else what they desire/need too. Building mutually satisfying relationships is the goal, not manipulating your dream man into marrying you (blech – what an idea!).
When a girl reveals her vulnerable side to a guy, it’s very hard for any guy to ignore her or avoid noticing her vulnerability. And the instant his mind connects with her vulnerability, it eliminates any thoughts of a threat and his protective side creates a bond of protection and attachment with her.
I’ve always found powerful women irresistible. Kissinger was right; power is the greatest aphrodisiac, and nothing is sexier than a woman who owns (not rents or leases with an option to buy) her personal sense of power.
