The article is so long, and talks about so many things and tips, but all you women who feel threatened by feminine girls just jump on one point the author claims, that Asian girls behave in a more feminine way. Do you even see how you’re all behaving? Like insecure brats!! Just read the whole article and stop picking the one thing that makes you feel insecure, for crying out loud!! Instead, try to understand a guy’s mind better.
Something I’ve learned, which I think is true for both men and women, is that there are two sides of attraction. The obvious, conventional attraction is that one has towards the masculinity/feminity of the opposite sex. However, the full spectrum of attraction & sexual/romantic fulfillment relates to ones own “self attraction” to their masculine/feminine sexual energies and how their partner brings those out. I’ve found that when it comes to turning a girl on, often it is equally important for me to make her feel beautiful, sexy, and seductive as it is for me to put effort into being the source of her attraction. Partly through compliments, but moreso through body queues that let her feed off my passion & attraction for her beauty & femininity, which stimulates her attraction towards her own sexuality. Both women & men are almost equally attracted to their own masculine/feminine sexual energies as they are to the opposite sexes. The naive may say, “A man being attracted to masculinity? That’s gay!”, but there’s a large difference between a man wanting to form a relationship & have sex with other men than being attracted to the way a woman makes him feel about his own masculinity & sexuality. Hence, why many enjoy having sex in a mirror or watching themselves on a porno vs having eyes on your partner alone.
It’s all about developing some “Savoir-faire” which literally means, “knowing how to do.” And once you do, you will have no difficulty in getting the attention of desirable men. You don’t have to bend over backwards or flutter your eyelashes to attract him. Rather, you simply have to create a tiny bit of mystique to draw him in.
For me personally, I like it when a woman puts in effort to do makeup that enhances how she already looks but does not pile on the foundation and then add a bunch of different powders and whatnot to it.
The kindle version is only $9, and if this book was sent to the top of the charts on Amazon or on various best selling booklists it would send a massive wake-up call to the culture about men and their opinions and feelings in the dating game rather than Kay Hymowitz’s bullshit “Manning Up” or Hanna Rosin’s even worse “The End of Men.”
After a few months, maybe casually bring it up. Always have a talk about it before trying ANYTHING. She’ll want to talk about it. Especially if she’s seen how you care for her, and would never use her for anything.

Tip #5: The 5 Minute Rule. Adam has a simple rule that his female clients abide by: “Give ANYONE five minutes of your time.” This includes, he says, a cute guy, a random girl at bar, your coworker, the guy behind the register. Why? Because according to Adam, “You never know, maybe he’s also a rock star in disguise, maybe she has a brother who’s recently single, maybe your coworker’s roommate is a professor at Harvard. And if you don’t have five minutes to spare, then you’re spending your time in the wrong places.” Plus, you know, being nice to people and making new friends is a pretty good idea.
Long story short, please realize that meeting worthwhile men is not so complicated after all. Catching the attention of men has everything to do with our way of being, our mannerisms, our enjoyment of life, and our femininity. This is what it means to create an “aura of beauty.” Today, you can begin attracting men the natural, uncomplicated way. You don’t have to wait another day. Start exploring your natural charm. Be a class-act. Trust me when I say that he is dying to know the “beguiling you.” He would love nothing better than to be drawn in by your lovely self, the one who is as natural and fascinating as the space you so graciously inhabit.
I would also suggest developing an additional “social” personal hobby. Depending on your current interests, perhaps there are some aspects of your hobbies now that could be more social (e.g. interest groups, meet-ups, conventions, etc.). That can be a good way to practice being more social and expand your friendship network. Perhaps you will find love that way. Or perhaps, you will make a good friend who will introduce you to his sister, cousin, girlfriend’s friend, etc. Networking works just as well in love as it does in business. A good referral goes a long way too 🙂

A man likes beauty he can feel not see. A beautiful woman who is insecure about her looks is a big turn off for any man. If a woman is confident about the way she looks, she will stay stunning in her man’s eyes no matter how much she ages.
Since the advent of eHarmony, OKCupid, and other dating services, more and more people are taking the plunge and creating an online dating profile. However, not all profiles are created equal–some companies and individuals use them to promote themselves and get ahead in some way. We gathered our best tips for spotting a fake from the start.
This is great! I know these in my head, but when I get around a guy I like everything flies out the window and I start acting desperate. Going to print this out and follow it with the guy i’m seeing now!!!
► Wit and humour: The ability to make another person laugh is a gift. That gift is indeed one of the most prized qualities in a woman that a man seeks. It fills him with happiness and energy. Being witty emphasises quick thinking capabilities, which in turn alludes to intelligence.
Do nice things for them. Think about their desires and what makes them happy, and go out of your way to do it for them. This could be a day at the spa, a new pair of shoes, or a note that you leave for him at his house. Think of what he would like and do it. Small things will add up over time and will help you create a mutual appreciation for one another.

I have been known to “own my space” by plopping on the floor in the midst of hundreds of commuters, laptop in lap, typing away obliviously. Savvy, what say you to this? Sure way to never get a good guy, or excusable city dweller behavior ?
I don’t know about you guys, but I hardly ever meet guys in regular life situations. You may have noticed that most of the dating escapades I tell you about are of the online persuasion. Which is fine, and I’ll continue to try that angle, but it would be nice once in a while to just meet a guy the old-fashioned way, right? (By old-fashioned I mean like, at a bar. Not an arranged marriage or anything.)
However, some people don’t pick such balanced relationships. Some repeatedly sell themselves short, giving way more than they get. In the end, these people often feel cheated, unappreciated, and used. Others repeatedly over-estimate their worth, asking for too much. They too end up feeling frustrated, when no one will meet their unrealistic expectations. Thus, both under-valuing and over-valuing one’s self leads to repeated problems in love.
It does take time to find a partner. It also takes time to date them. So, if you are serious about finding someone, you should start building a bit of “dating time” into your schedule. When you are single, that time can be used to go to singles events, or more social hobbies, and meet new people. When you find someone to date, you can use that time to go out with them. Therefore, a big part of having a plan is “planning” the time out of your schedule for a love life.
The way you ask the first question, it sounds like you are the one putting forth all the effort to make the relationship work. But cheating is ALWAYS the cheaters fault. A person CHOOSES to cheat. You can’t MAKE them cheat so no matter how bad the relationship was before, no matter how many arguments you may have gotten into, no matter whether he was drunk or not, HE still CHOSE to cheat.
None of this is earth-shattering, mind-blowing secrets that will give you some epiphany on love & life. Instead, it reads like common sense, the kind many of us missed the memo on, so that it’s not so “common” after all.
Day after day, as I hear single women bemoan the lack of available men, I wish ethics allowed me to set them up with my wonderful male clients who are searching, with equal frustration, for the right woman. Instead, I end up simply witnessing singles of both sexes failing to find each other. I believe this failure has much to do with the model of love-seeking most popular in our culture: the idea of romantic pursuit as a type of predation, a hunting expedition the goal of which is capture. In my experience, the way of thinking that leads to successful relationships is altogether different. It’s focused on the idea that the way to find love is to become so much yourself that you find others of your own kind, with whom you can share freedom.
Any one know where I can meet a man like mr. Platts in the Denver area? Lol I’m seriously horrible at going out to “find that guy”. Mainly because I have a job and an almost 2 year old. Men show me their interested but they usually only want one thing.. Any suggestions?? People says men find single mothers attractive but where are these men at???
Well, hello brake12. It’s true that some women are naturals. The good news is that good habits can be learned with enough commitment. It’s worth the extra effort–for sure!. Also, Aubrey, I thank you for pinning. I’m delighted that you enjoyed the hub.
Often while walking the streets of Manhattan I adjust both the pace and position of my stride so as to follow close behind, but not illegally close behind, an attractive woman. I must stress here to my girlfriend and mother that I do not do this to admire the view. All right, so partly I do this to admire the view. But another part of me likes to observe the reactions we—we’re a caravan, now—receive from the menfolk we pass. To walk this way is to witness the spasmodic necks and detoured eyes and high-pitched whistled salutes and deep, perfumed inhalations and even, at times, affected indifference that together form the grand choreography of male desire. The performance is a haphazard one, and far creepier to the audience than to the actors, but it remains sincere as instinct.
